As of 2010 we have translated over 700,000 words for companies and organizations in the transportation, railways, automobiles and mobility industries. Among the texts we have translated are: automobile manuals, company catalogues, drawings in AutoCAD, technical specifications for products, tender specifications, international standards, patents and software interfaces.

Translation staff

The collaboration with mechanical and transportation engineers allows our translators to produce documents with a high level of technical accuracy.

Ongoing training

To prepare our translators to deal with the specificities of their jobs, we provide them with introductory material, briefings and visits to the client's factories (21 visits in Italy and Germany in 2010 alone). Regular feedback from our revisers is a priceless tool for our translators as it allows them to build the knowledge they need to perform as if they were part the clients' in-house staff.

Glossaries of specialized terms

Our terminology research activities in each field of knowledge has produced, among other linguistic instruments, the following terminology databases (approximately 18,000 technical terms in Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, Czech, Slovakian, Slovenian, Croatian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Chinese, Turkish and Arabic).

Each of our translations is checked before delivery by means of appropriate revisions that conform to UNI EN standards 10574 and 15038, whereas our terminology research is regulated by our Terminology Search Protocol, presented officially at the Convention on Translation Studies at the Università Cattolica of Brescia in 2010.
